Just use the uploaded document as it’s the paper that needs to be transitioned i

Just use the uploaded document as it’s the paper that needs to be transitioned into a PPT not everything can fit, so please choose the best parts. I have also uploaded a sample to base off of
1) Use a template
Several templates have been provided for you here on Canvas. They are a single PowerPoint slide that
all your information will be put on. You may use one of these, or find another one. (There are many
templates available online, but make sure you find one that is for size 36”x24” and horizontal.)

2) Put your information in the template
Type and/or cup-and-paste your information into the PowerPoint template.
You are welcome to make changes to the template, but remember the following:
● You can make the font bigger but DO NOT make it smaller. (The templates are designed for the
36”x24” poster and making the font smaller may make it difficult or impossible to read on your
poster.)
● Replace and/or delete all the “TYPE HERE” text on the template. The final poster should only
have your work on it, not “TYPE YOUR INTRODUCTION HERE”.
● You may change colors on the template
● You may change the order and/or positioning of the sections, but in general, your poster should
flow from left to right in the order your research proposal flows from beginning to end.

What are the current issues facing the sport?

1. Overview / History of the sport:
Include where the sport started its initial purpose
If the sport spread to other countries, how and when
Who introduced the sport to the US and when was it introduced (if applicable)
Where is it played in the US and by whom (if applicable)?
2. Elements of the Game:
Players
Facilities and equipment
Rules and officiating
Special skills and strategy
3. Social and Cultural Elements:
Who governs the sport and how?
What are the current issues facing the sport?
Values
Government/ Public support
Celebration/ rituals in and around the sport
Media coverage
Formal and informal norms around the sport
Who can play the sport and why/ why not
How has the sport evolved over time due to:
Changes in technology (equipment, Media)
Changes in cultural norms ( religion, dress, work schedules, expectations of athletics)
Changes in structural norms ( travel policies, immigration, Sport as Right Policies)
Changes in the environment
4. Compare and contrast sport to U.S. Sport:
Tell how this sport is culturally and socially different than sports in the US (and/or how it may be similar)
Explore the reasons why this sport is played in the particular country but not played in the US (if that is in fact the case).
Try to relate this part to the social and cultural elements of the sport if you can. If a sport is not played in the U.S. do cultural factors play a role?

Why or why not?

answer the following questions:
1. Define Underconformity and Overconformity
2. Provide 1 example of underconformity and 1 example of overconformity that you have observed in sport
3. For the examples you provided above, do you think these behaviors are harmful to sport? Why or why not?
4. Does deviance hurt sport? Why or why not? If so, what steps can we take to reduce deviant behavior? If not, why do you think the behaviors you mentioned above are considered deviant by some and is there a way to change this perception?

What does the body have at 1, at 5, at 10, at 16, at 18 and at 21.

Objective: Identify and compare the function of the human body across the life span.
Directions: Using a Word document identify and compare the structure and function of the human body across the life span.
In your paper consider and/or answer –
1. Not all answers will have to do with ageing (specifically not old age) In other words, do not just give examples of things that wear out because one gets “old.” EXAMPLE: The thymus gland is fully functional until after puberty, then it begins to shrink.
2. Create a timeline for a human body from the age of 1 to 21. Consider systems other than what you can visually see. What does the body have at 1, at 5, at 10, at 16, at 18 and at 21. EXAMPLE: At age 1 bones have not yet hardened. At age 5 adult teeth begin to come through the gums replacing baby teeth.
3. Body functions– list 1 function for any 5 body system. As functions decrease, are there artificial substitutions? What are they? EXAMPLE: Kidneys: Filter blood. If kidneys lose too much of their normal function, people can go on dialysis machines which help filter the blood in place of the kidneys.
4. List 2 functions that are gender specific.
